此次活动是影像北京与伊比利亚当代艺术中心影像档案馆的首次合作，专场放映影片均选自在4月19日刚结束的伊比利亚当代艺术中心2009年度首展——“这里发生了什么？” 该展览由影片放映和文献展两部分构成。文献展部分主要通过文本、图片、录像、声音等材料展示国内现在比较活跃的几个民间影像推广机构，近些年来所做的工作；放映部分包括了国内和国外大约60部作品的放映，包括剧情片、记录片以及实验短片。值得一提的是，以色列导演Ron Havilio的两部记录长片《耶路撒冷断章》和《宝道西之旅》也将首次在北京放映；作为该展览的特别活动，日本音乐家大友良英的现场演出和有关的记录片放映也在这期间举行。组织方还配合放映和展览，安排各种专题讲座和论坛。
This special projection is the first cooperation between Photo Beijing and CIFA, all films/videos Which will be showed at the event are all selected from “What has been happening here” - the first exhibition of the year 2009 proudly presented by Iberia Center for Contemporary Art - spotlights films. The whole event is mainly composed of two parts: a document exhibition will focus on different organizations or studios dedicated to the promotion of independent film, by means of texts, images, videos and audios; about 60 films from home and abroad will be shown in film screenings, including features, documentaries and experimental short films. Among them we could find Israeli filmmaker Ron Havilio with his two documentaries - Fragments: Jerusalem and Potosi: The Journey. Live concerts featuring Japanese musician Otomo Yoshihide and documentary screenings will be included as special events of this exhibition. Meanwhile, various panels and forums will also be organized to encourage exchange of views, as well as interaction between the filmmakers, the films and the audience. The film exhibition runs for three weeks, and you shouldn’t miss this superb chance to get a fresh panorama report of Chinese independent films.
